I pray about everything. When you pray, it’s your one on one time with God. Just let it out, all the good and all the bad. He’s always going to listen to you, but a prayer does change things. Even if you think God isn’t listening, he does. Trust him. He’s always working on something for you. Breathe and ask for forgiveness and also forgive others. Remember that every single day is a brand new day. So start fresh and clean.

I’ve never been a Preacher’s Kid.

I don’t know every scripture off the back of my hand nor do I remember the first time I stepped foot into a spiritual environment…

…but I’ve always had faith.

The natural instinct to be a “protector” is amazing.

    Protective of myself. My family. My passions. My everything.

It shows another side of me sometimes… but not in a bad way.

Sometimes I have to be my own silent reminder that:

1. No one will care about the things that I care about as much as I do.

2. If they don’t, so what.

3. If they do, so what.

4. GOD GOT IT. 

Faith is that piece of stainless steel. 

Stick to your guns.

Faith is that peace that remains still.

Be still.

Be silent.

Be a passenger and He’ll take the wheel.

Note to self… Put your faith on it and God will take care of the rest.
